Advice to Creditors
We advise on all areas of your dealings with insolvent businesses.
What we can do for you.
Creditors are often unaware of a customer’s insolvency until it is too late –sometimes only upon receipt of a letter from an administrators telling them that the business has been sold.
The insolvency of one of your debtors can be an extremely frustrating experience. In many cases, it will be too late for you to do anything about it but the quicker that you act, the more likely it is that we might be able to assist you.
We have a great deal of experience in advising creditors in relation to the enforcement of their contractual rights against insolvent companies and to retaining or recovering possession of their goods from companies undergoing a formal insolvency process.
In cases where you do receive notice of an impending insolvency it is often essential that you act quickly in formulating a strategy to deal with the situation. We can advise you how to deal with the impending insolvency and its potential impact on your debt and we can usually arrange for you to be represented at a creditors’ meeting.
